Poem: Two different realities

27 June 2006

Not a sound from the phone,

Not a tear left to shed,

Not a chance in hell,

She feels so alone.

Not a care in the world,

Not a moment to spare,

Not a trick left untried,

She wants for nothing.

Never a hint of a smile,

Never a second glance,

Never a secret admirer,

She’s the latest shade of invisible.

Never a chipped nail,

Never a queue,

Never a lack of choices,

She’s hot and knows it.

**************************************************************************

So,

What happened to never judge a book by its cover?,

Who killed the guys who don’t love a girl for her bra size?,

Why are dark, fat and curly adjectives for ugly?,

When are we going to stop trusting only those who look attractive?

My advice, Know you are beautiful because a lot of the time no one else is going to tell you and because there really is no one better than you.
